Sizing depends on your evening load, whether you have three-phase supply, and whether you want backup during an outage.
A deliberately short list of tier-one manufacturers with local support and warranties that actually get honoured.

Straight answers, including the ones that don't help us sell.
Exporting to the grid is the consolation prize, a feed-in tariff is worth a fraction of what you pay to buy the same power back in the evening. A battery lets you use your own generation at the time you actually need it, which is where the second half of the saving lives.
Ask for the warranty in years, cycles and retained capacity, all three. A battery warranted for ten years but only 6,000 cycles may reach its cycle limit first. If an installer only quotes you years, they are leaving something out.
Usually yes. If you have a hybrid inverter it is straightforward. If not, an AC-coupled battery with its own inverter is the normal route, it costs more than the hybrid path but avoids replacing your existing inverter. We will tell you which applies after looking at your setup.
Only if it is specified to. Backup needs compatible hardware and a dedicated essential-loads circuit, and it typically powers selected circuits rather than the whole house. We price that explicitly so there is no surprise later.
